General Hours of Operation

We are open 6 days/week for your convenience! We have office hours, which indicate the time you can stop by to shop or call to make an appointment. During office hours, our spa coordinators are available to assist you. The appointment hours indicate when you can schedule any of our services. We can usually accommodate same day appointments Monday-Saturday. Call for appointment at 530-751-5166 or link to on-line booking for your convenience anytime! 

Location

We are easy to find at the North dead-end of Plumas Street in Yuba City, just past Queens Avenue to Plumas Court, turn left into our parking lot. Our address is 1528 Plumas Court, Yuba City, you will find us upstairs. There is an elevator for your convenience.

Policies

Cancellation Policy

Due to the popularity and demand for Spa Therapy services, we would appreciate your understanding and cooperation. We will require a credit card to hold your reservation. If you have booked an appointment, a 24 hour cancellation notice is required. The exception is all Monday appointments, which require 48 hour notice of cancelation due to closed office on Sunday. You may be held responsible for a fee of 50% of your canceled service if you have failed to give 24 hour notice. In addition, if you are booking more than 2 appointments the same day, you will be asked to pay 50% to hold your appointment if you are not an established client.  An established client is anyone who has appointments monthly, for more than 6 months. 

Method of Payment Policy

We accept all forms of payment, however, after office hours we do not accept cash.  Please be prepared to pay with any major credit card or check.  The office hours are listed above under 'hours'.   

Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds on any sale or service purchased. We strive to offer the best result-driven services and products in the industry. If you are unsatisfied with a product or service, we will make every effort to rectify and accommodate your request whenever possible. Our first and most important goal is to provide the highest level of care possible to you, your family and friends.

Gift Certificate Policy

Our gift card may be issued for any value and is redeemable for products and services, however, prices are subject to change.  The gift card is not redeemable for cash. Refunds can only be provided for unused cards with the original receipt provided within 48 hours of purchase. The gift cards do not expire. Lost, stolen, or missing gift cards cannot be redeemed. You need to call 530-751-5166 to schedule your appointment, or follow the links on the homepage to book on-line. You can use your gift card as a credit card to reserve your appointment. You can also book thru Facebook. If you fail to give 24 hour notice of cancellation, you may be held responsible for 50% of your service fee. Purchase and/or use of any gift card constitutes acceptance of all terms and conditions.

Private Party Cancellation Policy

A 50% deposit is required to reserve your private party date. Due to the popularity and demand for Spa Therapy services, we would appreciate your understanding and cooperation. If you have booked a private party, a 7 day notice of cancellation is required.
You will be held responsible for a fee of 50% of the total canceled service if you have failed to give 7 day notice. Private Party Forms.

Can I have alcohol at the spa?
No,  we are focused on your health and wellness, and alcohol and therapy nevr mix.  To keep with the mission of health and wellness at Spa Therapy, we do not allow spa guest to bring in alcohol to drink before or after their treatments. Some short term effects of alcohol, such as; breathing difficulties, distorted vision and hearing, impaired judgment, decreased perception and coordination, are counterproductive and counter intuitive to your health and wellness experience. Our goal is to provide the highest standards in the industry with our commitment and dedicated care to your health and wellness.

May I request a male or female therapist?
Of course. Rest assured that every Spa Therapy therapist is respectful of your privacy & will drape your body properly.

Spa Etiquette

Your ‘wind-down’ time is important before and after your treatment. Speak softly & arrive 10-15 minutes early for standard treatments. If this is your first time, please arrive 30 minutes before your appointment; you will provide us with your personal medical history and we will acclimate you to the wellness center. Spa Therapy has provided a relaxing, tranquil, & therapeutic environment for our guests. Therefore, it is necessary to keep our voices down as you enter the treatment area. Please help us maintain this peaceful atmosphere by turning off your cell phone and speaking softly. If you have come from work, you may wish to bring a change of clothes to continue your relaxation after your spa experience.

Observe our minimum age

Spa Therapy is designed for use by adults only. Guest must be 18 years old to use our facilities. However, due to our re-habilitation treatments, it may be necessary to treat a minor. An adult must accompany any minor while they are receiving therapy. The minor must leave immediately following therapy.

Do you offer discounts?
Yes!  We offer a 15% monthly e-special and post weekly FACEBOOK specials. We feature product specials each month for 10% savings.  Our monthly e-special includes our 'professional corner', which features new treatment and services by our professional staff at 10-15% savings. In addition, we always offer a 10% discount on treatments to active military as our way to saying 'thank you' for your service to our country. Discounts cannot be added together, you will receive the largest discount offered. Our Membership discounts do not apply to: private coaching sessions, monthly specials, gift card purchases, or other discount programs.

Do we travel to perform off-site treatments?

Yes! We can come to your office, party site, event, or venue for any of our services. Visit our massage page for prices or call for special office or group price. We can come to your office for 15 minute chair massage at $20/each + set-up and mileage fee. Our one hour massage fee to the Sleep Train Amphitheater is $130.

What if I have special health considerations?

We have an extensive health history form, which needs to be completed prior to your first visit. If your health history has changed over time, please notify the staff, and your history will be updated. If you have any disabilities or are pregnant, please notify the staff before booking your appointment so we can accommodate your needs. If you have any other health conditions, allergies, concerns, or questions, please let us know. For your comfort and safety, we recommend you do not comsume any alcoholic beverages during your spa visit, or immediately before or after your treatments.

Can I have some substitutions for lunch?

Yes. We serve a healthy chicken caesar salad lunch with caesar dressing, champagne or wine, and 'Pure Inventions' liquid anti-oxidant in our fruit-infused water. Please let us know if you have any allergies and need substitutions. We are happy to accomidate your needs. Please give us advance notice and we will make the changes your diet requires.
